Unity Life Skills Programs

Unity Foundation has consulted with elders, youth, psychologists, youth workers and educators, to develop a broad spectrum of life skills and development activities which aim to assist youth to take control of their own destiny.

Our targeted programs include:

Life Skills Programs in schools:   Unity Foundation conducts five-week (3Cs Program) and eight week (SAINTS Skills) courses conducted by elite athletes who act as facilitator in conjunction with a classroom teacher in secondary schools.  What makes this program significantly different from other sessional visits from athletes is that the structured nature of this primary prevention program is more effective in achieving the long term goals of stopping deviant behaviours and promoting tolerance. This initiative is supported through partnerships with RMIT University, the St.Kilda Football Club, Melbourne Storm and Rio Tinto.   3Cs Program info    SAINTS Program Info
