Including the Unity Foundation in Your Islamic Will
In Islam, one of the most meaningful ways to continue giving after your lifetime is through the Wasiyyah. This section of an Islamic Will allows you to allocate up to one third of your estate to charitable causes that reflect your values and priorities.
By including the Unity Foundation in your Wasiyyah, you create a legacy of ongoing charity that continues to benefit others long after you have returned to Allah. Your gift helps support Islamic education, scholarships, and community initiatives that nurture knowledge, character, and opportunity for future generations of learners.
This is a powerful way to ensure your estate reflects your faith and your commitment to strengthening the Muslim community for years to come.
How to Leave a Bequest to the Unity Foundation
Leaving a bequest is a simple and lasting way to support the mission of Unity Grammar through the Unity Foundation.
A charitable gift in your Will may take several forms, including:
• A fixed sum of money
• A percentage of your estate
• A specific asset such as property or shares
If you wish to include the Unity Foundation in your Will, you may consider wording similar to the following.
